Next Level 1 CERT class:
Fall dates will be announced in JUNE.
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a national program under the Citizens Corps umbrella that prepares community members to respond to immediate needs following a major disaster.
CERT training is FREE!
CERT training educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact the City of Charlottesville and our surrounding communities.
With this training, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in our community.
